Asia Pacific

Today, the Singapore office is the centre of our activities in Asia Pacific. Following the integration of CME, CBOT and NYMEX to create today’s CME Group, Asia Pacific is covered by a multi-functional and multi-asset class team focused on working closely with the region’s diverse customer base to serve its specific risk management and investment requirements.

CME Group now provides one of the most extensive ranges of listed products internationally, covering all major asset classes: interest rates, foreign exchange, equity indices, agricultural commodities, metals, energy, weather and real estate. All are easily accessible via a connection to Globex, the world’s leading electronic trading platform, supported by our Asia-based Global Account Management (GAM) team. We also provide clearing for a growing range of over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transactions via CME ClearPort, a comprehensive set of flexible solutions for substantially mitigating counterparty credit risk in the OTC marketplace. We continue to build strategic alliances with key regional exchanges to increase the trading opportunities available to each exchange’s customers. We believe in a partnership approach and always welcome feedback on how we can better work together to improve our marketplace for all participants.
