The Treasury Markets Association (TMA) is formed by institutionalising the previous Treasury Markets Forum of Hong Kong and the merger with the ACI-The Financial Markets Association of Hong Kong. The mission of the Treasury Markets Association (TMA) is to further promote the professionalism and competitiveness of the treasury markets in Hong Kong through the following functions:

  • Developing appropriate codes and standards for the treasury markets
  • Promoting market and product development
  • Enhancing the professionalism of market practitioners
  • Promoting the profile of Hong Kong as the preferred hub for treasury market businesses in the Asia Pacific region.

 

Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA

Member of the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) www.kofia.or.kr

The Korea Financial Investment Association's (KOFIA') roles and functions cover: Market Management, Financial Investment Industry, Policy Recommendation, Education and Training, Fostering Investment Culture. KOFIA was launched on February 4, 2009 through the merger of the three associations - the Korea Securities Dealers Association, the Asset Management Association and Korea Futures Association) - representing the securities, asset management and futures industry, as set forth by the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act (FSCMA). These previous three associations had played an essential role in building the framework of Korea's capital market and financial investment industry.

Futures Industry Association Asia (FIA Asia)

FIA Asia’s mission is to be the regional thought leader, advocate and educator for centrally cleared derivatives. As the primary industry association for the Asian region, FIA Asia engages in regulatory and legislative advocacy to ensure fair and efficient capital markets and provides a forum for discussion on core issues across industry stakeholders. It also collaborates with regulators, legislators, and other trade associations regionally and globally to anticipate and fulfill members’ current and future needs.

 

Futures Industry Association Japan (FIA Japan)

FIA-Japan is dedicated to spreading the understanding of futures and options markets, including commodity markets and financial market instruments. Its current membership consists of over 60 foreign and domestic organizations, bringing together FCMs, securities firms, banks, futures exchanges and other professional firms. FIA-Japan monitors and comments on Japanese legislative and regulatory developments. It provides a forum for discussion of industry matters and training on international market practices and regulations.

IBA Japan is a trade association for foreign banks and securities firms based in Japan and also other associated financial services firms. A well-respected voice for the international banking community, it aims to bring together the views of foreign market participants and engage with the Japanese authorities and other stakeholders to achieve an efficient market. It also provides a forum for members to share information and experiences and provides a range of member services.

 

US India Business Council (USIBC)

The U.S.-India Business Council is a business advocacy organization representing America's top companies investing in India and global Indian companies with an aim to strengthen commercial ties. It facilitates key meetings with the Indian industry and the United States. Its efforts are partnered with industry & trade associations in India, including the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the American Chamber of Commerce in India (AmCham India) and the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).
