The CME Globex platform is designed with open architecture that accommodates a wide variety of trading and market data interfaces. If you need a front-end trading system, your can:

• Develop your own
• Purchase one from an independent software vendor (ISV)
• Use an application provided by a broker, data center, proprietary trading group, trading arcade or clearing firm

We also offer a front-end interface for advanced options functionality and basic futures functionality – CME EOS Trader. Our order entry interface – CME Globex Trader – will be available only through mid 2008.

The CME Globex Access Directory (PDF) lists all the companies that provide trading and market data applications that are certified for compliance with CME Globex. These companies also are committed to keeping current with platform enhancements and changes to CME interfaces and functionality. Many also offer network access in addition to front-end trading applications.  You can order the directory in print or on CD-ROM by contacting Customer Service.
