The best way to access our electronic options is through the CME Globex Partners. Comprised of ISV and FCM front-end trading system providers, CME Globex Partners offer enhanced electronic access to the options markets. For more information, contact your FCM or ISV directly.

However, if your FCM or ISV does not currently support enhanced options functionality on CME Globex, you may want to consider CME EOS Trader, a CMEG-provided solution.

CME EOS Trader is a Web-based front-end system with basic futures and advanced options trading functionality on the CME Globex platform in all product groups.

• Defining and trading unique strategies on the fly
• Credit controls
• Fast order entry
• Shared order book and real-time market data
• Automated book keeping feature with clearing and account balances

Keep in mind, however, that third-party applications offer more extensive futures functionality.

Handheld Trading Floor Technology

If you are a floor trader seeking access to CME Globex products, you can use the GALAX-C electronic handheld trading system. A number of third-party vendors also offer handheld solutions

A CME-provided application and hardware, GALAX-C allows local traders to directly access futures, options and spreads on CME Globex from the open outcry trading floors. The system:

• Is available in wireless PDA and Tablet PC formats
• Is individually configurable
• Supports credit controls.

GALAX-C users can:

• Trade any instrument listed on CME Globex
• Submit Limit and Fill and Kill (FAK) orders types
• Cancel by price level, contract, all bids, all offers, or global cancel
• View the five best bids and offers and Net Position
• Send and receive Request for Quotes (RFQ)
• View and trade the underlying futures on the options and spreads screen
