CME Customer Connection Agreement

The CME Customer Connection Agreement allows customers to access CME Globex, including development to and connection via iLink and Market Data Platform, CME EOS Trader, clearing systems, FirmSoft, Drop Copy and Cancel on Disconnect.

Please note that both the customer and clearing firm may be required to sign this Agreement and Schedules.

Customers may complete these forms manually or electronically, print them out for authorized signatures and forward to the indicated department. Please contact Global Account Management with any questions or concerns.

CME Customer Connection Agreement – Schedule 1

This agreement outlines the customer connection terms and conditions for access to the CME Globex electronic trading platform.

Schedule 2 – Access Request and Information Form

Customers complete this schedule to request production connectivity.
CME supports various connectivity options as detailed in the CME Production Connectivity Guide.

Schedule 3 & 4 – User ID and GCC Authorized Contacts Request

Customers complete this form to obtain individual user IDs for CME EOS Trader and to identify contacts permitted by their clearing firm to access the CME Global Command Center (GCC) for assistance with order cancellations, trade inquiries or technical issues.

Schedule 5 – Additions, Deletions and Changes

Customers who need to make changes to their connectivity or interface type are required to complete this form.

Schedule 6 – Clearing Firm Guarantee & Acknowledgement

Completion of this schedule by a Class A Clearing Firm serves as a guarantee for all orders sent via a direct connection, and is required for all connections.

Schedule 9 – FirmSoft License Agreement

This schedule is required for all customers that desire FirmSoft access.

Schedule 11 – Cancel On Disconnect

Customers must submit this form to request the Cancel on Disconnect risk management service.

Schedule 12 – Drop Copy Service

This form is required to request the Drop Copy risk management service.

CME Globex Interface Development Agreement

The Schedule A and Schedule B to the Interface Development Agreement are required to connect to the Certification and New Release testing environments and/or develop order entry applications.
