CME Group Commodity Trading Challenge

CME Group's Commodity Trading Challenge is a complimentary four-week electronic trading competition where teams of undergraduate and graduate students can trade Crude Oil, Gold and Corn Futures in a simulated trading environment on a real-time professional trading platform provided by CQG.

Top ranking students will be eligible for cash prizes and exclusive CME Group experiences.

This competition is an annual event and the number of schools that participate has grown each year - with 179 schools from 26 countries and over 320 teams competing in 2013. The Commodity Trading Challenge is a unique chance for students to learn hands on techniques for trading futures. Teams must consist of 3-5 members and can register with a student leader or faculty advisor.

Day of Market Education

CME Group's Day of Market Education

CME Group's Day of Market Education is a one-day conference that provides students with an exclusive look into CME Group and the financial industry. During the conference, business experts will deliver presentations relevant to the global marketplace, and attendees will have the opportunity to view live open outcry trading and learn about CME Group's electronic trading platform, CME Globex. After the days' educational offerings, students will be joined by the industry's top firms for a networking reception and dinner.

This complimentary conference is by invitation-only for the top ranking student teams participating in CME Group's 2013 Commodity Trading Challenge.

Students are responsible for their travel and hotel accommodations.
