December silver recovered from early losses this morning but has been unable to post a new high for the move. A sluggish Dollar and comparatively strong US equity markets are thought to have helped sliver climb back into positive territory by mid-session. Some traders feel that commodity risk sentiment has started to wane in front of critical market events later this week, which may kept December silver from reaching new high ground during today's session.
