Silver prices have posted a sharp rally for the second session in a row, and have now railed more than $2.00 above last Thursday's weekly low. Today's set of weaker than expected US economic data was seen by many traders as providing further evidence for Fed officials to start up fresh quantitative easing measures at this month's FOMC meeting. However, a negative turnaround in US equities and a rebound in the Dollar have been widely seen to have taken silver prices off of their early highs by mid-session.
