The gold market has recovered from early losses this morning but remains well below yesterday's high for the move at mid-session. Today's set of US economic data posted mixed results, with a jump in Jobless Claims offset by a significant increase in the Producer Price Index. However, a weak Dollar has been widely seen to have supported December gold and helped to lift prices back into positive territory. Labor unrest in South African has also been seen as an additional positive factor for the gold market.
