The silver market also sustained a sharp post-US data selloff, although prices were able to make a quicker recovery while September silver remained well inside of its recent trading range. Some traders felt that the combination of improving commodity risk sentiment with relative quiet from the Euro zone debt crisis provided silver with enough support to climb back towards unchanged levels later on during the session.
