The silver market also failed to hold an initial upside probe on the charts. In retrospect, it seemed as if the risk-on vibe was overdone and lacked staying power in the wake of the limited US scheduled data flows this morning. With adverse currency market action, profit taking action in gold and weakness in energy prices, outside market influences seemed to have shifted slightly into the bear's favor just ahead of mid session today.
