The silver market forged a fresh downside breakout on the charts, managed a temporary bounce but then fell right back into new low ground quickly. With July silver prices today falling to the lowest level since the December 2011 spike low and the trade seemingly comfortable holding prices down near those lows, it would seem like silver has limited would-be buyers standing on the sidelines. However, some traders were a little concerned that adjusting the COT silver positioning to today's lows, from the Tuesday June 19th mark off date, could leave the silver with the smallest spec long position since early in 2002.
