July silver prices managed a low to high recovery burst today of roughly $1.51 an ounce! Like gold, the silver trade was lifted by fresh easing hopes from the US and or a surge in fresh flight to quality buying of silver, off ideas that the US might be unable to cushion the world economy against a break up of the Euro zone. On the other hand, seeing a $3.00 per barrel downside extension in crude oil prices and seeing a 200 point decline in the Dow probably served to limit the upside action in silver today, even though silver prices still managed a very impressive rise from their early lows.
