The platinum market comes into Wednesday's trading session close to the prior day's low but relative to the declines seen in gold and silver prices overnight, some traders feel that platinum has outperformed the rest of the metals markets. However, other traders feel that the "big picture" macro economic outlook remains negative as equities remain weak while the Dollar has risen to new highs this morning. While the US economic report schedule is quiet this morning, there are a number of Fed speeches today and perhaps some "dovish" dialogue from a Fed official may provide some support against the carryover pressure from other physical commodity markets
