Silver prices have been unable to put the brakes on this week's selloff, as the market has now reached its lowest levels since mid-January. Today's Durable Goods numbers may have had a particularly negative impact on industrial commodities, which has added further pressure on silver this morning. With July silver falling over $1.20 this week, some traders feel that a positive reception to the FOMC meeting results later today could help to trigger a short-covering rebound later on during the session.
