Lean hog futures gapped higher on the open, but most contracts finished below their opening levels. February and April futures ended 80 and 65 cents higher, respectively, while deferred months were narrowly mixed with an upside bias. Steady to higher cash hog bids again today gave bulls the advantage in the lean hog market.
