This two-day course provides a strong foundation in the fundamentals of market theory and industry practice. Course includes comprehensive self-study exam materials: two textbooks - Futures and Options and the Guide to US Futures Regulation, each with practice Q&As - plus Series 3 PassMaster, a Web-tutorial & test simulator with unlimited practice exams, that lets you practice and refine test-taking skills.
Attention Series 3 exam candidates: This live presentation together with self-study books, and PassMaster provide a blended learning experience. The course covers topics from the market knowledge portion of the Series 3 test such as trading theory and functions; margins, offset, settlement, delivery; option premiums, exercise, assignment and settlement: orders; hedging; spreading; strategies and calculations. Compliance rules and disclosures also are reviewed and exam candidates should further prepare for the regulation portion of the exam on their own by reading and using the Q&As included in theGuide to U.S Futures Regulations.
Candidates can further practice and refine test-taking skills on market knowledge and regulation before sitting for the actual exam using IFM's Series 3 PassMaster, a Web-based tutorial and simulated test program. Demo Series 3 PassMaster for free.
