Don Roberts began his career in the financial industry in 1997 as a clerk and then a market maker for Timber Hill on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. After this brief career as a floor trader Mr. Roberts became Interactive Brokers' representative in Chicago. In 1999, he left the floor to join thinkorswim as a founding member. Mr. Roberts acted as the Chief Compliance Officer and relationship manager with thinkorswim's clearing firm for nine years before being named the Chief Operating Officer in 2008. He served in the United States Marine Corp prior to entering St. Bonaventure University as an undergraduate, were he received a degree in Mass Communications. Upon completion of his undergraduate program Mr. Roberts went on to study Economics and Sociology at Oxford University. Finally, he returned to St. Bonaventure University to earn his MBA.
