Pro Farmer Editor/Publisher, Professional Farmers of America

Chip joined Pro Farmer as a floor reporter for Futures World News in January 1988 after graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Ag Journalism. He spent 3 ½ years in Chicago reporting from the floors of the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange as Bureau Chief for FWN.

Chip moved to the Pro Farmer headquarters in April 1991 where he started as Electronic Services Editor. With Pro Farmer, he has been Sr. Market Analyst, Editorial Director and General Manager.

Chip has been Editor of Pro Farmer Newsletter since May 1997 and Publisher since November 1999. He is responsible for the news, information and perspective delivered by Pro Farmer and still plays an active role in grain and livestock marketing advice to the 15,000-plus Pro Farmer Members.

Brian Grete

Sr. Market Analyst, Pro Farmer

Brian was raised on a family grain and livestock farm near Muscatine in southeast Iowa. He has been associated with and worked in the agricultural sector his entire life.

Brian joined Pro Farmer in January 1996 after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a communications/public relations degree. He has served in several roles over the last 12 years with the company, with an emphasis on risk management and commodity analysis. Brian has served as Sr. Market Analyst at Pro Farmer since December 2003.

Brian has been a featured guest on AgDay TV along with regular appearances at Pro Farmer seminars and other speaking engagements around the country.
