Mayra Rodriguez Valladares, a featured contributor of CME Group, heads MRV Associates and has over twenty years of capital markets, foreign exchange, and energy markets experience. She has worked with regulators at the Fed, OCC, OTS, New York State Banking Department, and the SEC. Mayra also worked with private sector, foreign central banks and with insurance and reinsurance companies globally, creating and delivering courses on risk management, risk based supervision, capital markets, derivatives, microfinance, anti-corruption, and good governance.

Mayra is a graduate of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, The Wharton School, and The Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. She was also a Raoul Wallenberg Fellow at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian and functional in German, Hebrew, and Italian.
