John (Jack) Ross Crooks Jr., President and Chief Trading Officer

Mr. Crooks has close to 20 years experience in the currency, equity, and futures arena. Jack is a investment advisor who has held key positions in brokerage, money management, trading, and research. Jack is founder and president of Black Swan Capital LLC and Black Swan Capital Management. He was also founder of Ross International Asset Management and General Manager of Plexus Trading. Ross International was a discretionary money management firm specializing in global stock, bond, and currency asset management for retail clients. Plexus Trading specialized in currency futures and commodities trading. Neither firm is now in operation. Prior to entering the investment arena, Jack worked in various corporate finance positions. He has written extensively on the subject of global currencies and international economics.

John Ross Crooks III, Currency Market Analyst

John Ross is a market analyst and writer for Black Swan Capital LLC. He first joined Black Swan in August of 2005. During his time as a contributing writer to Black Swan, John Ross also held a position as research analyst with The Weiss Group, a financial publishing firm based in Jupiter, Florida. With Weiss, he followed the precious metals and commodities markets, as well as public companies involved in those markets. He also recently held a position with The Sovereign Society, a company aimed at providing international asset protection and investment knowledge. While at the Sovereign Society his research and writing focused on global financial markets, specifically their global-macro influence on foreign exchange. John Ross holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Florida State University.
