Insight for tomorrow - A year after the storm

CME Group's 2nd annual Global Financial Leadership Conference continues to provide a forum for leaders in business, finance and politics to discuss critical global issues.

From November 2-4, 2009, at the Ritz Carlton Beach Resort in Naples, Florida, decision makers from the world's leading financial institutions will once again gather to discuss emerging geopolitical trends, debate critical economic issues and provide insightful perspectives on future developments in the financial marketplace.
Featuring keynote speakers Paul Volcker, chairman of the White House Economic Recovery Advisory Board and former chairman of the Federal Reserve, and Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek International, columnist and CNN host of "GPS," this year's conference will explore a range of critical issues such as:
In addition to the thought-provoking keynote speakers, Chrystia Freeland, U.S. managing editor of the Financial Times; John Gapper, associate editor and chief business commentator of the Financial Times; and T. Boone Pickens, energy activist and chairman of BP Capital Management, will be on hand to add insights to the conversation.
Other confirmed speakers to date include: Kiyohiko Nishimura, deputy governor of Bank of Japan; David McCormick, former undersecretary for financial stability of the U.S. Department of the Treasury; Gary Becker, Nobel-prize winning economist from the University of Chicago; and Mark Dalton, vice chairman and president of Tudor Investment Management, as well as senior executives from Allstate and the University of Notre Dame.
