Description

AD, Strategic Sales, EMEA,  is responsible for expanding the CME Group customer base and increasing volumes and revenues from new and existing customers within his/her designated customer segments, in this case FCMs, Banks and Asset Managers. The position requires (a) developing a keen understanding of CME Group’s products and services as well as the targeted customer segments, (b) identifying and prioritizing key players and top targets and corresponding opportunities for growth in line with broader CME Group product growth objectives, and (c) developing strategies and tactics to capitalize on the growth opportunities. The candidate must develop a thorough understanding of the specific needs of each segment and develop and execute targeted sales and marketing programs to enhance usage of CME Group products and services, meeting agreed-upon customer and volume growth targets. Further, the candidate will act as account manager and central point of contact to existing and prospective customers/members, involving his/her colleagues on the product team as appropriate.

Requirements

 

 

Bachelors Degree with 7-10 years of experience in derivatives.  The selected candidate should have experience working in a sales or business development role with one of the following products:  interest rates, FX, equities or commodities.  This person should also have significant experience working with futures and some exposure to options as well.
