Description
This position within our Products and Services group will seek to increase volumes and revenues from new and existing customers across designated customer segments in CME’s Equity Index Futures and Options and increase market share by assisting in the development and launch new product markets/business opportunities.
The selected candidate will be responsible for initiating new relationships, enhancing existing relations and ongoing communications with CME’s customer base in order to build strong business partnerships. The position is also responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Equity Index Futures and Options product and marketing strategy.
Key Job Elements included, but are not limited to:
- Possess a keen understanding of CME’s products and services as well as the targeted customer segments. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the specific needs of each segment and develop and execute targeted sales and marketing programs to enhance usage of CME products and services.
- Generate new customer business for the Equity Index Futures and Options products.
- Educate customers about, and facilitate access to, CME’s Equity Index Futures and Options products through frequent visits to customers, attending trade shows, answering questions and providing information on a timely basis.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in equity and derivatives sales and marketing, experience with exposure to OTC, options, and volatility products a plus.
- Must have the ability to work with clients to facilitate their understanding of the application of CME’s products to their trading, investment and risk management needs.
- Should have buy-side client relationships, money mangers and pensions preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, with MBA preferred.
