M-F 8-5 This position will initially train in the Chicago Loop area but will then be based in the Oakbrook Terrace area with flexibility needed to travel to the Loop area on a regular basis.
Description
The analyst will train with members of each functional unit in the Clearing House in order to perform their most critical functions. The analyst will continue to train on a regular basis, rotate departments regularly, keeping up to date on the processes, procedures and data flows of the following functional areas; Operations, Financial, Deliveries, Product and Risk Management.
Specifically, the analyst will be responsible for:
Balancing Bank accounts for firms across multiple units
Changing firm setups and account structures / or banking relationships
Process and analyze margin calls / performance bond payments and calls
Support technical environments, queue setups and understand connectivity of firms
Resolve connection problems with firms
Understand Clearing operation for set up of new products and for End of Day cycles
Monitor FX trades
Monitor out trades
Process deliveries for CME and CBOT products
Document processes and procedures for further training and for use in disaster recovery scenarios
Requirements
Self Starter; willing to request training at appropriate times and work independently
Ability to Multi task effectively
Ability to grasp concepts quickly and question when necessary
Strong writing and project management skills
Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills
Excellent customer service, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, detail orientated.
