Description
This position is responsible for design, construction, implementation and support on a wide variety of systems primarily related to risk management. It is part of a small team integrated with end users which supports a universe of applications for the Clearing Division Risk Control Department.
Requirements
- Strong systems analysis and design skills.
- Strong development skills in the Microsoft environment, including C#, C++, .Net, SQL Server, ASP.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability (minimum 3-5 years experience) to work effectively in a small-team, high-pressure and multi-priority environment, and to provide full life-cycle support.
- Business knowledge of clearing processes, futures and options, swaps and other financial derivatives, mathematical and statistical techniques, and portfolio risk-evaluation methodologies are strong pluses.
- Java, J2EE, Linux technical skillset is a plus, although primary development environment is Microsoft.
