The selected candidate will be responsible for doing C/C++ development and systems analysis for Market Regulation analysis systems.  Participation in architectural strategies, system troubleshooting and root cause analysis for any failure or availability issues will also be a main focus of this job.  

The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Primary:  3-4 years of solid work experience in server side C++ development.  Good skills in object oriented development.  Good skills in problem solving and teamwork.  Skills in developing C++ applications on Linux hardware, working knowledge of Linux or traditional Unix.  Linux system administration experience a plus. Knowledge of network protocols, TCP, UDP, Multicast, etc.
Secondary:  Work experience with SQL.  Experience working with trading systems, particularly in order entry, FIX Protocol, DHTML front end development would be a plus. Must be able to prioritize tasks and have good communication skills.

4 year degree in Computer Science, EE or equivalent work experience required.
