CME Clearing
The Clearing Division ensures the safety and soundness of our markets by providing industry leading risk management services to market participants around the world. This includes business transacted on the CBOT, CME, COMEX and NYMEX exchanges, as well as over-the-counter transactions submitted for clearing through CME ClearPort and CME Clearing Europe.
Executive
The Executive Division is composed of the Offices of the CEO, President and Chief Operating Officer that work together to execute the company’s overall business strategy and provide strategic direction to division leaders across all business units. The division also includes the Government Relations Department, which is responsible for advancing the company’s legislative, regulatory and political priorities, and the Research and Product Development Department, which identifies and develops new product and services opportunities and provides strategic research into new markets and business development opportunities.
Enterprise Solutions
The Enterprise Solutions Division manages the company’s program management function by ensuring that the analysis and execution of enterprise initiatives and strategic opportunities are tightly aligned with the company’s business strategy.
Finance & Corporate Development
The Finance & Corporate Development Division works to increase shareholder value through financial reporting, revenue and expense analysis, tax planning, capital structure management, mergers and acquisitions and detailed examination of other investment opportunities.
Global Operations
The Global Operations Division provides a premier electronic and physical marketplace by ensuring the operational and procedural integrity of our markets through proactive monitoring on all venues, including CME Globex and CME ClearPort, as well as trading floors in Chicago and New York. The group is also responsible for the environmental and physical integrity of company data centers and the physical safety and security of all CME Group facilities.
Human Resources
The Human Resources Division creates shareholder value by acquiring, retaining and leveraging top talent and providing competitive benefits and compensation offerings. Human Resources also works with internal partners to align key Human Resource processes and programs — such as the Performance Management Process and professional development offerings — with business needs.
Legal & Regulatory
The Legal & Regulatory Division ensures CME Group’s legal and regulatory compliance, supervises internal controls, implements risk management capabilities and provides member and shareholder services.
Marketing
The Marketing Division develops and implements strategies to promote the value of CME Group to internal and external stakeholders. The division supports the company’s brand and individual businesses by marketing products, technology and services to employees, customers and partners, and enhancing CME Group’s reputation with shareholders, investors, opinion leaders and the media.
Products & Services
The Products & Services Division is focused on global business development and client-driven sales. The group is composed of Business Line Management teams responsible for managing each of our asset classes with a focus on ensuring growth, value creation, innovation and profitability, as well as Client Development & Sales teams responsible for developing a better understanding our clients’ business needs, selling our complete range of products and services to our existing clients and sourcing new customers. The division also includes the Information Products Management, OTC Products & Services, International Products & Services, and Strategy & Planning teams. These groups help execute the company’s business strategy and growth initiatives.
Technology & Enterprise Computing
The Technology & Enterprise Computing Division systems support electronic trade matching, inbound and outbound order routing, clearing, market data, trading floor technology and other corporate processes to strengthen our reputation as a leading technology company.
